Offer rules
∙ How to participate?
o Buy any Britannia 5050 biscuit packet with the Google Pay logo.
o Scan the QR code on the Promotional Pack (“Promotional Pack”), or manually enter the unique 16-digit numeric code (printed on the last row of packet details, along with expiry date, batch number etc.) on the offer landing page on Google Pay (“Offer Page”). You can enter codes to play up to 3 times daily.
o Review offer T&Cs before participating.
o Tip: Scanning the code will give you higher chances to win rare cards.
∙ Offer mechanism:
o Each Promotional Pack presents a different number of gameplays available to you. The number of gameplays is printed on each Promotional Pack.
▪ 5050 Sweet and Salty: 2 gameplays
▪ 5050 Maska Chaska: 3 gameplays
▪ 5050 Golmaal: 4 gameplays
▪ 5050 Potazos: 4 gameplays
∙ Upon verification of the 16-digit unique numeric game code (“Game Code”) printed on the back of the Promotional Pack, you will have to play a skill game wherein, you'll watch an animated cricket match video based on the number of gameplays printed on the Promotional Pack purchased by you. You need to umpire the animated cricket match video.
∙ As the umpire, you will need to decide on the outcome of the animated cricket match. This is a timed challenge and you’ll need to watch the video and select your answer within the time frame. The timer on the screen starts as soon as the video starts playing and the difficulty progresses with your game level. There will be no replays, so you can only watch each video once.
∙ You’ll be rewarded a collectible game card only for every correct answer. The game card rewarded may be new or same to what you already have. The game card may be allocated based on randomised selection, and it is possible that you may receive the same kind of game card more than once. There are 8 unique game cards and 4 game levels. Your objective is to collect the relevant unique game card(s) for the game level. For each new level that you complete, you’ll get cashback or exclusive rewards, and will proceed to the next level.
∙ You may see your collection of game cards and learn about your current level and the next levels of cards to collect on the campaign on the landing page.
∙ You may gift or request a game card from friends or family.
∙ Rewards:
o The reward milestones are based on the game level that you have completed (each a “Reward”).
▪ Level 1: Collect all 3 unique game cards and earn ₹10-₹25 cashback in the form of a scratch card (redeemable on your next Google Pay transaction within 7 days).
▪ Level 2: Collect all 6 unique game cards and earn ₹25-₹100 cashback in the form of a scratch card (redeemable on your next Google Pay transaction within 7 days).
▪ Level 3: Collect all 7 unique game cards and win an exclusive merchandise.
▪ Level 4: Collection all 8 unique game cards and win a cricket match ticket. o You will need to make linear progress on the game levels. You will only be rewarded for the respective game level if all previous levels have been completed.
o Each Google Pay account user is entitled to win only one reward per game level.
∙ Rewards redemption:
o Redeem your cashback offer in the form of a scratch card to get up to ₹100 cashback by making your next transaction using Google Pay within a maximum of 7 days.
o The Cricket Match ticket and merchandise winners will be published on Britannia’s contest website post verification of the winners.
o Offer is valid from 15th September 2023 till 7 November 2023 (“Offer Period”), subject to availability of promotional packets. You will not be allowed to participate outside the offer period, even if the Promotional Packs are available for sale before the Offer Period starts or after the Offer Period ends.
o Make sure you have the latest version of the Google Pay app to see all features. o Offer subject to these rules and the terms and conditions below.
∙ Redeem your (“Merchandise”) and (“Cricket Match Ticket”) by entering the redemption code (that can be found on the voucher you earned) on Britannia’s website [https://britannia.co.in/5050fourthumpire].
Terms & conditions
∙ Offer details:
o This Offer is promoted and organised by Google India Digital Services Pvt Limited (“GIDS”) and Britannia Industries Limited (“Britannia”) collectively referred to as the (“Promoters”).
o Only Britannia 5050 packets with the Google Pay logo have Game Codes on them. Game code is for one time usage only.
o During the Offer Period, you may participate more than once to collect game cards, however, you will be eligible for a Reward (in the form of cashback scratch card reward from GIDS and Merchandise reward & Cricket Match Ticket from Britannia) and can progress to the next game level only when all the applicable unique game card(s) for a level are collected.
o The prize winners shall be selected solely as per the terms and conditions of this Offer herein, and the same cannot be challenged under any circumstance. The decisions of the Promoters are final and binding. Promoters shall in no case entertain any questions, correspondence, enquiries, etc. on the manner of the selection. Further, Promoters shall have the right to exercise discretion in order to ensure equity and fairness for all participants of this Offer.
o This Offer is exclusive to you and cannot be reproduced, transferred, or used by anyone else. This Offer can not be clubbed with any other ongoing offer during the Offer Period.
∙ Level 1 & 2 Reward redemption:
o Level 1 & Level 2 Rewards are offered solely by GIDS. Britannia is not involved nor has any role in relation to the provision of Level 1 & Level 2 Rewards.
o Scratch the digital card in your reward channel on the Google Pay app. Scratch cards you receive will expire after 45 days if not scratched. Your scratch card will expire after 45 days if you do not have an account linked, or if issues with your linked account prevent cashback from being credited. Once you scratch the digital card you must complete your next transaction using Google Pay within a maximum of 7 days.
o Paying insurance premiums do not count as valid payments in this Offer.
o The value of any given cashback scratch card reward may vary from: (a) ₹10 to ₹25 for level 1 reward and (b) ₹25 to ₹100 for level 2 reward. In each case, cashback given will be determined in real-time by an algorithm that may dynamically take into account a number of factors such as amount / type of cashback that have already been distributed across all users; date / time the cashback is earned; or other aggregated, cross-campaign metrics.
o Any cashback that you earn will be added to your rewards channel and to your UPI enabled bank account linked to Google Pay.
o You can earn up to a total of ₹9,000 per financial year (1 April to 31 March), across all Google Pay offers.
o The total number of qualifying transactions you can make as well as their amount is subject to applicable law, banking/payment system rules, merchant terms, and/or Google Pay terms.
∙ Level 3 & 4 Reward redemption:
o Level 3 & Level 4 rewards are offered solely by Britannia. GIDS is not involved nor has any role in relation to the provision of Level 3 & Level 4 rewards.
o Upon completion of the game Levels 3 and/or 4, go to Britannia’s website, enter the redemption code on your voucher and provide your details to redeem your reward(s). You will be asked to share the following details on Britannia’s website for verification and shipping – name, address, contact number, email, and proof of consumption which includes Promotional Pack wrappers. Your shipping details will also be shared with the logistics partners. You must provide the required information by the date mentioned on the website and ensure all shipping details are correct. Any failure to do so will not extend to GIDS and Britannia.
o Upon verification of your details, merchandise will be sent to your physical address, while Cricket Match Tickets may be either shipped to your address or sent to your email address as an e-ticket. You will be required to exchange e-tickets for a physical ticket at the stadium stands.
o There will be a total Merchandise of 7,500 jerseys, 2,000 smart watches, 500 cricket kits and 250 Cricket Match Tickets (“Cricket Match Tickets”) to be won. You will not have any right to claim a Cricket Match Ticket for any other category of seating or any other match, other than the ones issued by Britannia. Once all these rewards are distributed, no additional merchandise or tickets will be provided as rewards. The Cricket Match Ticket rewarded can be for any match and city location, and all ancillary costs like travel, accommodation, food and miscellaneous expenses will be borne by you.
o Britannia shall not be responsible for issuing a fresh Cricket Match Ticket, in case the scheduled cricket match gets postponed or cancelled or abandoned or for any reason whatsoever or the cricket match does not take place on the scheduled date and venue. You shall not be eligible to claim any compensation or refund of match ticket value or issuance of fresh Ticket.
o Winners’ names and pictures may be published on Britannia social media accounts. By entering the Contest, unless otherwise advised, you agree that Britannia or its affiliates may use your names and images shared, for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference or payment to you.
o The responsibility is on you to ensure that you are able to claim the Reward and make use of the Reward. Rewards unclaimed in the time and manner stipulated for whatever reason, will be forfeited. No request of rescheduling the dates or replacement or change of the Reward shall be entertained. The Rewards under this campaign can’t be traded, transferred, exchanged, sold, assigned, replaced or adjusted with anything including other prizes, other gifts or cash. Rewards must be taken as offered and cannot be varied.
o Rewards will be provided on an ‘as is’ basis and without any additional warranty or guarantee. The guarantee and warranty of any merchandise will be as provided by the manufacturer or service provider. If you have any grievance with respect to the merchandise or service provided as a Reward, you will need to directly contact the manufacturer or service provider. Promoters do not control entry to the match locations. You must keep match tickets safe and the Promoter will not replace lost or stolen tickets.
o All other costs and expenses other than those specifically mentioned to be borne by the Promoter will be to your account.
o The services of a third party courier service/ delivery partner which will be availed is not controlled or supervised by the Promoters, hence any issue relating to delay in delivery or damage in transit will need to be addressed with the courier delivery partner.
∙ Eligibility criteria:
o You are an Indian citizen aged 18 or above, residing in India.
o You bought a Promotional Pack.
o You have registered with Google Pay app. You can only use one set of Google Pay credentials i.e. the mobile phone number linked to Google pay, that has not been previously registered with Google Pay. It is further clarified that even if you have multiple UPI Ids/ Bank accounts linked to the same mobile phone number, you are still eligible to participate in this Offer only once.
o The Promoters reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to disqualify users who do not meet the Offer requirements or in case of fraud or suspicious
transactions/activities.
o Employees, interns, contractors, and office-holders of the Promoters, their immediate families, affiliates and subsidiaries, and any representatives or agencies of the Promoters or other persons professionally connected with the Offer, are not eligible to participate.
∙ This Offer is not available in the state of Tamil Nadu, as per the Tamil Nadu Prize Scheme (Prohibition) Act 1979, and wherever else prohibited by law. Those in the state of Tamil Nadu may participate here. By accessing and participating in the Offer, you agree to comply with all applicable laws, and your participation should not be in such a manner that would result in any violation of applicable laws by you or the Promoters.
∙ Disclaimers:
o You agree that your participation in the Offer constitutes your understanding of and agreement to these Offer terms and conditions. You shall bear all applicable charges, taxes and expenses for participation such as purchase of product, internet charges for participation etc.
o You are solely responsible for deciding if the product or service purchased is suitable for you, based on your individual circumstances and personal judgement. This Offer does not constitute Promoter’s endorsement/ recommendation of a Promoter’s goods or services.
o You understand and agree that Google Pay is not responsible for any merchant services or products referenced in this Offer or the scratch card reward, or that you purchase or receive from a merchant or other third party. Any complaints/queries relating to the merchant’s product shall be directly taken up with the merchant as per the details on the product pack.
o This is a limited-time Offer, subject to availability of Promotional Packs and Promoters reserve the right to discontinue or change these terms at any time without notice.
o Subject to any applicable law, all warranties of any kind whatsoever, whether express or implied, are hereby expressly DISCLAIMED by the Promoters. Promoters do not make any commitment, express or implied to respond to any of your feedback, suggestions and/or queries.
o At the end of the Offer Period, all obligations of Promoters (as applicable) in regard to the offer will terminate. No queries, claims, dispute, complaints or grievances shall be entertained by Britannia or GIDS after 30 days from the date of the closure of the Offer Period.
o The Rewards under this Offer are free of cost and you are not required to pay for the same or send any money or share any Bank or Card details with the Promoters.
o By entering this Offer, you agree to hold harmless the Promoters and its affiliates, against all liability, damages or causes of action with respect to or arising out of: (i) your participation in the Offer; (ii) the selection criteria or process; (iii) the administration of the Offer; (iv) delivery of the Rewards for reasons not attributable to the Promoters; (v) the quality, warranty, suitability, functioning or anything relating to the Reward; or damage to person or property suffered as a result of your participation in the Offer.
o The Promoters, agencies and companies associated with this Offer are not liable (including in negligence), whether jointly or severally, for any loss (including indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury, illness or death suffered in connection with this Offer or any Reward, except for any liability which under that cannot be excluded under law (in which case that liability is limited to the greatest extent allowed by law).
o You understand and agree that your entries may be used by the Promoters for their respective business purposes. All the rights including but not limited to the intellectual property rights and all other subsidiary rights in the entry/ies shall vest with the Promoters absolutely, worldwide and in perpetuity.
o Disputes under this Offer are subject to the jurisdiction of Courts at New Delhi only.
