Cheese Fondue

This meal is a great appetizer for those cosy get-togethers. This is sure to please your guests, leaving them asking for more!


  • 2 cups Grated Britannia Cheese Cubes
  • 2 tbsp All-purpose flour
  • 1 clove Garlic, cut in half
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 tsp - Dijon Mustard
  • Thyme
  • Chilly flakes as desired
  • Salt to taste
  • Sides: Apple, Baguette cut into pieces / croutons/ bread sticks, pear slices, broccoli, and strawberries to serve with the fondue.


  • Mix Britannia cheese in a medium bowl with the flour, tossing thoroughly to coat all pieces. The mixture should resemble breadcrumbs.
  • In a fondue pot or large heavy saucepan, bring the milk and garlic to a simmer over medium-low heat.
  • Add the Britannia cheese mixture into the simmering liquid a little at a time, stirring well between each addition to ensure a smooth fondue.
  • Once smooth, stir in the mustard and thyme. Add salt to taste.
  • Pour the fondue into a fondue pot. Serve the dipping food with fondue forks or wooden skewers.
